IDPs from Sa'ada in settlement outside Houth, April 2017
Just outside Houth in Yemen, around 1 hours drive from Sa'ada in the north, 460 families have sought shelter in this settlement. NRC provided the essentials as blankets, a bucket, and some basic food, when the families first arrived in early 2015. Other organisations have provided shelter and water and sanitation services. The living conditions are basic, and most of the children in the camp don't go to school.
460 families who fled war in Sa'ada more than two years ago, have sought shelter in an informal settlement in Houth. NRC provided NFI kits (basic food, buckets, blankets and hygiene items) upon their arrival.
