Improving Lives During Displacement
Recently, NRC and Trocaire organized a two-day Camp Coordination Camp Management (CCCM) Training from 16th—17th January 2017 in Mai Hkawng RC Camp, Mansi Township, Kachin State. This training targeted 25 participants. The participants are currently serving in their various capacities as camp managers, camp focal points, camp committee members. The training covers the roles and responsibilities of the camp focal persons, Coordination and Information Management inside the camp, Protection, Community Participation, Standards and Site Design, Camp Care and Maintenance, Camp Closure and Durable Solutions.
Additionally, NRC also reaches out to IDPs who are living outside camps and with host communities advocating for out of camp responses for them to realize their rights, empower and enable them to access basic services that have not been provided to them for reasons that they are not registered and living in camps.
