Abdulrahman Mohamed (30) is originally from west Mosul and was forced to leave everything behind when he fled. He now lives in the Hamam al-Alil camp with his four children.
"I came here four two weeks ago, there was no life in Mosul. Nothing was available especially food and medical services. ISIS fighter came to our house and stayed with us, they did allow use to flee they told us we would die together."
"The roads were dangerous, my family and I came with a lot of families, we heard that four families could not make it because of road bombs and IS snipers. My wife was pregnant she gave a birth in the way, but the baby could not make it. If the baby was alive I would name her Hala."
"I hope everything gets better in the future, I want my children to get education to find a professional career such as doctor, engineer, and teacher, I really want to go back and rebuild my house to make my children happy, I want to buy a car in the future for me and my children."
