Hussina Abid (42) is originally from Mosul.
"I came here Hama al-Ali nine days ago, I came with my seven daughters, four of them are disabled, the roads were dangerous but people and Iraqi army helped us to safety.
Life had died. ISIS took everything from us and forced us to leave. They took my husband three months ago; I don’t know where is he now. We are doing fine here since it is safe and we receive a lot of things here, and I am thankful for NRC for providing use these needs, but we still need more, especially water."
"Life is not the same without my husband, I hope he is still alive and gets back to us soon, I want to have the same joy with my family as we used to have before ISIS, but we would not have it without having my husband around."
