Khazer camp, Hasansham, November 4, 2016:
Woman, does not want to give her name.
She has 11 children and is pregnant. She came from Gogjali yesterday (3. November) with a car.
“We did not sleep the last two nights before we came here. I had a good night sleep last night.”
“The last weeks there was no water, no electricity, we only survived on bread.”
“My husband used to work for TV, but he lost his job.”
“We didn’t have anything to give to our children”.
“Before ISIS we used to live here in Hasansham, just over there, but they forced us to move to Mosul, they wanted us to live like a wall around them to protect them.”
She is glad that they are safe now. She wants her children to go back to school and her husband to get a job again.
