Edgar Paví, the school director (El Congo Village)
Caught between armed groups who have been fighting for half a century, this people in El Congo, have had enough. "There were really serious clashes. We fear for human and material losses. That's why we had to flee several times", said Edgar Paví, a school director that lives in the settlement.
Back in the time, the school used to be under crossfire and students went under their sits to protect themselves. “Many children did not attend school because of fear and lack of education facilities”, said Edgar. Now Nasa people, in El Congo, can provide education for every child, thanks to a new education facility, safe behavioural trainings and educational materials provided by NRC.
