IDP girl from Nangarhar in Kabul informal settlements
Eshtiagh, is an 8 year old girl who was displaced with her family from Nangarhar three months ago after being threatened by militants. She now lives in the squalid Kabul slums, where her family eke out a living, including through collecting trash for recycling, and begging. There is only one school nearby for her to go to, a madrassah, but no government school is available. Like most children in Kabul's slums, she is forced to help her family make a living.
